No one hits the Powerball jackpot, rises to $650 million

No one matched all the six numbers to win the $535 million Powerball jackpot in Saturday night’s draw. The grand prize now grows to $650 million. This is also the second-highest level jackpot prize in the history of Powerball.

The Saturday night’s winning numbers were: 17, 19, 39, 43, and 68, along with

Powerball number: 13

Power Play: 4X

The Multi-State Lottery Association runs Powerball for 44 US states and also in Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The $535 Powerball jackpot up for grab was the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot in the 22 years history of the game. The highest ever Powerball jackpot was drawn in January 2016 worth $1.6 billion. It split between three winning tickets.

In addition to this, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1-in-292 million. Moreover, the odds of winning are always the same, irrespective the size of the Powerball jackpot. Apart from this, the odds of winning any prize, even the smallest, are 1-in-25.

Above all, no one has managed to hit the Powerball jackpot in the semi-weekly drawing since June 10. A Californian ticket hit the last Powerball jackpot on June 10 and scooped $447.8 million.
