Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Raised $7.5 Million Dollars for Scholarships

Numbers always speak the truth. Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) ticket sales exceed its previous record. This year it has recorded more than 30 percent additional sales compared to a year earlier. It is doubtlessly a notable growth. Isn’t it less than a jackpot win?

The ASL has been boosting since 2012. “We have had an outstanding two weeks,” says Bishop Woosley, ASL Director. He regarded it as the perfect storm of good games. For the first time in history, Powerball and Mega Millions have both been over 300 million at the same time. Nowadays people carry cash quite often. So, State Senator Trent Garner (R-El Dorado) sponsored the bill to allow debit card lotto sales in the State of Arkansas. It allowed the lottery not to track if tickets are bought with cash or card. However, credit card sales are still not authorised by the top-rank officials.

Instant game sales were up 26 percent in the first nine days of the month. It rounds up 31 percent (overall) with draw game sales up 51 percent. The immense increase in sales has helped the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to raise more than 7-and-half million dollars for scholarships in the July month.
