Ruth Rodriguez is the lucky $1 million winner

The $1 million winning ticket from October 18th, 2017 drawing was sold in Kenosha County and Ruth Rodriguez is the lucky winner. She managed to match five out of five drawn numbers but did not match the Powerball. There was a straight rollover as it went without a top prize winner.

Wednesday’s Powerball winning numbers were 30, 49, 54, 66 and 69; whereas 08 was the Powerball number and 02 was the Power Play number. Powerball officials urged the $1 million winning ticket holder to claim the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Madison. However, the Powerball winners of all prize levels are blessed with 180 days (from the day of the draw) prize claiming duration. Rodriguez purchased her ticket at the Speedway, 3012 Washington Road (near Wood Road), Kenosha County. Another ticket-holder, who scooped $50,000 from October 18th, 2017 Powerball, bought his/her ticket at Schmidt’s Country Gas N Go at 26480 Fries Lane (near Loomis Road) in Wind Lake (Racine County).

Held on Wednesday and Saturday, the Powerball lottery offers two games every week. For taking participation in the Powerball game, the punters are supposed to choose five white numbers from 1 through 69 and one red number from 1 through 26. The game which is powered by 1 in 292 million winning odds is now available on Lottery’s mobile application.
