Mother and Daughter collect £1 million Lottery prize

Brenda Page (66) and her only daughter Julie (32) have come forward to claim an unclaimed prize. A local newspaper published the news and helped them to collect this £1 million. The top prize of Millionaire Raffle was drawn on 8th July. But, the pair from Radlett (Hertfordshire) came forward to claim the £1 million winning prize after three weeks.

“Mum buys our tickets four weeks in advance and only checks them when she buys the next four-week batch,” said Julie. Her mother made her surplus. So, Julie joined on a temp job a few days back. After claiming the prize, she informed her partner that he is going to marry into a millionaire family. He looked up and asked how they got a parking ticket.

They purchased this Lotto Millionaire Raffle ticket from Dipa News on Shenley Road, Borehamwood. “Julie and I are so close and being able to share this win are just magical,” Brenda said. They want to buy new homes with the winning money.
