Mega Millions ticket price will get doubled from October 31 Drawing and onwards. From this draw, the jackpot will start at $40 million. The current range is sitting at $15 million. These two changes will make the Mega Millions one of the most lucrative jackpots. Hence, the Mega Millions jackpot will be on an equal segment with Powerball jackpot in terms of jackpot amount and the odds of winning the jackpot.

This is going to the sixth occasion in game’s 21-year history when the matrix of numbers will be shuffled. From October 31 drawing and onwards, five main balls will be chosen from a set of 70 balls and one Mega Ball will be selected from a set of 25 balls.
