The biggest lottery prize in the history of Alberta! A couple from Yellowhead County (west) of Edmonton has claimed a $60 million Lotto Max jackpot from the September 22nd draw. The Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission will introduce the winning couple at a news conference in St. Albert on Wednesday.
2, 37, 43, 38, 10, 39, and 47 were the main numbers drawn in Friday’s Lotto Max draw whereas 28 was the bonus number. Four ticket holders managed to match six of seven numbers plus the bonus number. They scooped $144,713.30 each.
A $54 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot was won in October 2005 and shared by 17 workers at an oil and gas company. The punters scooped four Lotto Max jackpots worth $50 million from Edmonton, Lamont, Fort Kent and Irma between December 2013 and November 2016.
