The National Lottery officials are requesting all the Limerick-based players to check their lottery tickets. According to them, a lucky ticket sold in Ryan’s Centra at O’Connell Street has scooped €500,000 from the Sunday’s Lotto Plus One draw.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have sold the winning ticket. There is a buzz in the store this morning with locals, and customers coming in to check their tickets,” said James Ryan, store manager at Ryan’s Centra. “We are 10 years in operation on O’Connell Street, Limerick. So, it is fantastic to get a big win”. Also, he has no idea about the winner. So, he (along with other employees) is happy to find the winner.
Moreover, no lucky punter won Saturday’s €8.5 million Lotto jackpot.
