Powerball Product Group Chair, Charlie Mclntyre said, a ticket sold in Massachusetts claimed the $758.7 million (Dh2.7 billion) jackpot. Moreover, it is the largest grand prize scooped by a single lottery ticket in US history.

Charlie Mclntyre also said that six other lottery tickets also won $2 million apiece and 34 more tickets are worth $1 million. The winning lucky numbers for the second largest lottery prize in U.S. history were: 6-7-16-23-26 with Powerball number 4. According to Massachusetts State Lottery’s tweet, the Handy Variety convenience store in Watertown sold the winning Powerball lottery ticket.
