Five New Mexico lottery ticket-holders have won jackpots from Wednesday’s draw. New Mexico Lottery CEO,  David Barden, said, “We are very excited to announce that [Wednesday] night’s Powerball draw generated a $2-million, a $1-million, a $200,000 and two $50,000 winning tickets in New Mexico.”

Moreover, Lenard Bulmer from Albuquerque (New Mexico) scooped $1 million from August 18 Mega Millions draw. Some other players from New Mexico have had their lottery winning tickets in less than a week.

Powerball ticket sales in New Mexico were approximately over $2.7-million from Sunday to Wednesday night’s drawing. However, the $758.7 million jackpot winner, Mavis Wanczyk, bought her ticket at a convenience store in Massachusetts. She claimed her prize Thursday.
