A couple from South Bay scooped half a million dollars from Friday night’s Mega Millions jackpot. They matched five out of six numbers drawn. Teri and Jack, the winning couple, bought the Lucky ticket at Lake Vista Liquors on Lawrence Expressway in Sunnyvale.

They confirmed their win by visiting the store on Saturday morning. “We were supposed to go to work. Paint and finish our jobs but I don’t know I think we might need to take the day off,” they expressed.

The winning couple chose not to give their last names. Buying a house and going on a vacation trip is on their wish list. They are quite happy with their win.
