A Windsor Mill man won $50,015 lottery jackpot from the Maryland Lottery as an ideal birthday gift. He received this a day before his birthday.

The 61-year-old has long been a fan of the Maryland Lottery’s Bonus Match 5 game. He has won smaller prizes multiple times but not a bigger one like this. “I have won $400 and $600 here and there. I was waiting to hit the jackpot!”

The prize he was waiting came to him when he matched the numbers of the August 30 drawing. He intends to celebrate the birthday by giving the winnings as a gift to his wife. He told his wife, “God gave me a gift, and I know what I am going to do with this gift.”
