No lucky punter scooped Saturday’s Powerball jackpot. But, four ticket-holders scooped $50,000 each from that draw. In adherence to the Virginia Lottery officials, all four tickets were purchased in Virginia (Ashland, Arlington, Norfolk, and Glen Allen). These winners matched four out of five numbers drawn. They also matched the Powerball.
A total of 119,251 tickets sold in Virginia won prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000. Moreover, the odds of winning $50K in the Powerball drawing are 1 in 913,129.18.

Above all, Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot has climbed to $650 million. It is now among the largest jackpots in the history. Powerball drawings take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 10:59 pm. However, the cut-off time of buying a ticket on the night of the drawing is 10:00 pm.
