Thomas Holloway, a man from Glenview (Illinois, USA), scooped $5 million with a scratch-off lottery ticket. He was at a Glenview-based (1340 Patriot Blvd) Jewel grocery store when he scratched the ticket.
Holloway scratched the “Million $$ Match” ticket after buying it from a lottery service machine. He chose to take his prize as a lump sum amount of $3 million. According to lottery officials, the concerned shop also received $50,000 as a ticket selling bonus.
“I was shocked when I saw the $5 million prize amount. I have already met with financial planners,” said Holloway. He wants to invest his winnings wisely.
