There is some good news for the state lottery players. A Powerball jackpot worth $430 million is up for grab in Wednesday’s drawing.

It is said to be the 10^th largest jackpot in the Powerball game’s history. Although, it won’t be the largest this summer as Jeff Lindsay, a California resident, scooped $450 million back in June. Moreover, the Lottery drawing comes after two weeks of lottery one-upmanship between Powerball and MegaMillions.

As the successor of the drawings came up without any jackpot winners, each game grew bigger and larger. However, a winning ticket in Illinois matched all five Mega Millions numbers and ended the journey on Friday. The Illinois ticket matched all five numbers making it worth an estimated $393 million. This was the fifth largest in the game’s history.

Above all, the odds of winning a jackpot are extremely low. It is 1-in-292.2 million for Powerball, and 1-in-258.9 million for Mega Millions draw.
