Bich Ha, a 29-year-old San Francisco woman, received a Crossword Deluxe Scratcher ticket from her father. She received the $20 Scratcher ticket as her birthday gift. The $2 million ticket was purchased at Woerner’s Liquor at 901 Geary St. in San Francisco, and the shop will receive $10,000 for selling it.
As per the California Lottery officials, Ha is planning to utilise her winnings in taking care of her parents. “I want to get a place for my parents. I want to get them a house, preferably in the city,” she told lottery officials.
The 29-year-old turned into the second Bay Area millionaire in as many weeks from a Scratcher jackpot. Salvador Reyna, the first millionaire, scooped $3 million on a $5 Set For Life Scratcher at a Fremont 7-Eleven.
