A Clinton county resident has matched all five balls drawn in 9th January in Cash 5 Jackpot draw to scoop $500,000, less withholding. The lucky ticket was purchased at the Puff ‘N Snuff, 118 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven.

The winning numbers for Tuesday evening’s Cash 5 Jackpot drawing were 03, 12, 24, 25, and 40. Puff ‘N Snuff gets $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The winner should sign the ticket and call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 to claim it. The other option with the winner is filing the claim at the Lottery office.

More than 38,000 other Cash 5 ticket holders won prizes in the Jan. 9, 2017 drawing. The Pennsylvania Lottery, which was introduced in 1972, has awarded more than $9.5 million in prizes to Clinton County players. It has given away a sum of $4.1 million for the programs serving the older residents of Clinton County. It is the only state lottery to direct all proceeds to programs that benefit older residents.

Pennsylvania Lottery identifies its winners after the prizes are claimed, and tickets are validated. Prize winners need to claim their prizes within one year from the date of the drawing. Else, the winning amounts are disregarded.

The Cash 5 game is played every evening. So, the tickets are made available for seven days. One can buy tickets for seven draws in maximum. A Cash 5 player needs to pay $1 for getting a ticket. For playing the game, a player is supposed to select five numbers from a slot of 43 numbers. He/she can prefer own numbers using a Cash 5 Play Slip or opt for computer-selected quick picks. Players are supposed to match all five winning numbers to win the top prize – the jackpot. The winning odds of this jackpot is 1 in 962,598.
