Two tickets, sold in California and Wisconsin, matched five white balls to win the game’s second prize Friday night. Last years’ $536 million jackpot won in Indiana was the third largest Mega Millions jackpot ever. In 2012, the top $656 million jackpot split among three winners from Illinois, Kansas and Maryland.
Interestingly, the jackpot has been rolling since David Trapp last won it in April. Two other winners were Jack Freney ($191 million) and Texan Eliberto Cantu ($177 million). Jack belongs to California (United States), and Texan belongs to Arkansas (United States). Mega Millions has more than 70 prizes worth $1 million or more.
