Excitement rises as Powerball Jackpot swells to $650 Million

Powerball jackpot fever is on the rise. Jackpot soars towards the second-largest jackpot in the history. It is now following the $1.6 billion jackpot won in January 2016. Before it rolled up, a ticket matched all the five white balls drawn (17, 19, 39, 43, and 68) and scooped $1 million from Saturday’s drawing. The Whitpain Beverage, 1667 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell (Montgomery County) sold the ticket. The ticket selling store also earned a bonus of $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.

In addition to this, two Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets conquered $200,000 each from its Saturday’s drawing. These tickets were sold at MJ’s Mini Mart, 275 Fairview Road, Kersey (Elk County) and Montrose Convenience Store, 11046 Route 29, South Montrose (Susquehanna County). Both of these tickets matched four out of five white balls and the red Powerball. In the same draw, more than 274,400 ticket winners won prizes of various amounts.

The Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have a one-year deadline from the drawing date to claim the prize. The Lottery also encourages the ticket holders to sign their tickets and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Dauphin County, Middletown, or at any of Lottery’s nearest offices.
