A Kyle woman’s probation revokes earlier this month. She has violated the terms of her 2013 conviction for stealing lottery tickets from the gas station at which she worked.
Kasey Garrison, 24, is currently locked at the Hays County Jail, Texas on a $50,000 bond for violating her probation terms. Her probation extended through March 2018. She was originally arrested in December 2012. Garrison got arrested in response to a theft after a Hays County deputy was dispatched to the Speedy Stop on Overpass Road in Buda. She was an employee at the Speedy Stop on Overpass Road in Buda.
The Hays County deputy got information that Garrison is stealing lottery tickets for the past few months totaling approximately $1,695. Garrison also admitted to stealing lottery tickets. In accordance to the arresting affidavit, Garrison said to take tickets in the amount of $5, $10 and $20.
Later, Garrison pled guilty in 2013 to claim a lottery prize by fraud. Meanwhile, for your information, it is a third-degree felony. As per court documents, Garrison failed to pass drug tests, report to her community supervisor and pay court costs. Above all, Garrison was booked into the Hays County Jail on July 12. Currently, she is waiting for a hearing set for August 10, 2017.
