$50,000 Poker Players Championship underway in Las Vegas

The $50,000 Poker Players Championship is now officially underway at the 2017 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. The Championship is considered as the toughest by many players because it requires mastering all the game formats and not just the No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-limit Omaha.

Till date, 89 players have taken their seats in this year’s $50,000 Poker Players Championship. Several multiple bracelets winners including Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, and Gus Hansen have already taken their seats while Phil Ivey is yet to make his presence noticed. The late David “Chip” Reese, Freddy Deeb and Scotty Nguyen are some of the legendary players who have won the earlier editions of the championship.

Last year, Brian “tsarrast” Rast won the $50,000 Poker Players Championship for the second time and joined Michael Mizrachi as the second two-time champion of the tournament.
