Scratch-off Ticket Brings $1 Million for Tuscola County Woman

A 52-year-old woman from Tuscola County (Michigan) wants to remain anonymous after winning $1-million prize even though it was overwhelming for her. As to Michigan Lottery officials, she bought her winning ticket on Nov. 24, 2017 (Friday) at the Speedy Q market, 6516 Center Street in Unionville, Mich.

Until Nov. 28, 2017 (Tuesday), the winner was unable to travel Lansing-based Michigan Lottery headquarters. “I was so nervous holding on to it all weekend. It was the longest weekend I have ever had!” she told the Michigan Lottery.

The 52-year-old had to choose annuity payments totalling $1 million or lump sum payment of $634,000. She preferred to receive the lump sum (one-time) payment. A new house, a new car, and some savings are on her wish list when it comes to the utilisation of winning amount.
