Michael Sherrill bought a Lucky Day Lotto Quick Pick ticket at The Herrin Hucks, at 520 S. Park St. It matched all five numbers in the Nov. 2, 2017 (Thursday) and scooped $650,000 lottery prize. The ticket holder lived in Colp for 32 years. The Herrin Hucks shop is expected to receive $6,500 for selling the winning ticket.

In adherence to Illinois Lottery news release, the winning couple, Michael and his wife, wants to share this windfall with family. Besides, they are willing to donate some portion to their church. The rest amount should be invested according to them.

Lucky Day Lotto tickets cost $1 each. The players of Lucky Day Lotto are supposed to choose five numbers from a slot of 1 through 45. The Lucky Day Lotto 5/45 game was a 5/45 game earlier. It is a jackpot driven game which was increased from 30 to 39 numbers on Feb. 25, 2004. As believed, it is easier to win this game. This game has payouts for two, three, and four ($100) numbers.
