All Briton lottery players are being urged to check their lottery tickets after a UK ticket won the latest EuroMillions jackpot. Worth more than £87m, it is believed to be the seventh-biggest ever lottery jackpot win in the UK and the winner is said to be worth more than celebrities Ed Sheeran(£52m) and Daniel Radcliffe(£78m).

The person who correctly matched all the six numbers and has the winning ticket will now be £87m richer. “The ticket holder has instantly become the seventh-biggest ever National Lottery winner,” said Andy Carter from the National Lottery. He added that this is the third EuroMillions Jackpot prize to be won in the UK this year and is the biggest yet.
Carter later said that by buying a ticket for EuroMillions or any other lottery game, every player is helping to raise money for good causes.
