Store owner finally wins $30,000 at his own store

Scott Hirst of Watertown, NY has finally hit his jackpot. He is the owner of Gold Star Deli in Watertown. After noticing others win the lottery at his store Gold Star Deli, he finally got lucky this week.

Scott won $30,000 on a Take 5 drawing using same numbers he has been playing for 24 years. Moreover, Gold Star Deli is the same store that sold a winning ticket of worth $56.6 million in 2005. In 2005, Gary McGivney hit his $56.6 million jackpot at Gold Star Deli in Watertown.

Scott says while it’s not that much but his winning the ticket brings things into a full circle. He said, “Regardless of what people think, the fact of the matter is they do give this away.” He adds people do win every week and millionaires are made every day. Moreover, he didn’t get a million, but he is happy with this win. Scott said, “I didn’t get a million, but my $30,000 isn’t too bad.”

Above all, Scott said that now he won’t continue to play the same numbers. Probably, he will be using random ones for the Take 5 game.
