A North West man who was fighting with aggressive prostate cancer wins R17.5 Million Lotto Jackpot. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. And, now he has won an R17.5 Million Lotto Jackpot in 2017.

The winner explored that he had a winning ticket after visiting the local store. He immediately drove back home and shared the news with his beloved who was in the kitchen then. The couple started crying because it was news of shock.

“After finding out I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I felt like my life was coming to an end. All I could do was hope for the best‚” the winner told Ithuba. After the cancer was diagnosed in February, last year, bad luck struck him again on May, this year. He was driving to work when he found the left eye was blurry. It was creating vision problem to the winner. He suddenly lost all vision in his left eye.

It affected his professional life and income. His luck changed when he visited a doctor and revealed that he had cleared of cancer. The doctor said that there is no residue of cancer in the blood. With Lotto winnings, he will pursue another eye operation. However, retirement plan, sharing money with the kids, and buying a car for his grandson are the on-cart plans.
