Powerball Ticket worth $2 million sold at Humble Area Gas Station

Samuel Hoyte, a man from Houston, has turned into a millionaire after matching all five numbers drawn in Texas Lottery August 16 draw. He claimed the second-tier Powerball prize worth $2 million. The 8400 Block of FM 1960 Bypass Road, near Bush Intercontinental Airport sold the winning ticket.

Hoyte matched the five white ball numbers; i.e., 9, 15, 43, 60, and 64; drawn in last Wednesday. Unfortunately, he did not match the red Powerball number, 04. Another ticket-holder scooped $1 million from the same draw. The person from Houston bought his/her ticket in the Heights.

Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot climbed to $700 million for this Wednesday. It will offer a cash payout of $443.3 million. The odds of winning this prize will be 1 in 292.2 million which is comparable to being a lucky person out of the entire population in the United States.
