A North Carolina Powerball ticket matched all five white balls in Saturday night’s draw. The winning ticket scooped $1 million.
According to Lottery Officials, the Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot sits at $650 million annuity worth $411.7 million cash. It will be the second-largest Powerball jackpot ever won. As per the Powerball Officials, there was no grand prize winner in the Saturday night’s draw leaving the jackpot to keep growing.
Moreover, the Sam’s Mart at N.C. Highway 74 East in Union County sold the $1 million winning ticket. In addition to this, three tickets worth the $200,000 prizes were sold in Buncombe County, Stanly County and Craven County. A Sheetz in Forsyth County also sold a winning ticket worth $50,000.
Above all, the jackpot for Wednesday night’s draw sits at $650 million which is also the third largest in U.S. history. No one has managed to match all the six numbers drawn for more than two months. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1-in-292.2 million.
