A woman from Toogoolawah conquered the first prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot on November 27, 2017. She is $200,000 richer now. She was surprised when she realised that she is the winner. The lady who bought her winning entry at Cressbrook Newsagency in Toogoolawah wishes to remain anonymous. She decided to buy a ticket even though she was not a regular Lucky Lotteries player.

Golden Casket officials had been waiting for the lucky ticket holder to come forward. The winning ticket was not registered to a Winners Circle card. So, they had no way to contact the winner. One day she came to know that there was a Lucky Lotteries winner in her region. It initiated her to check the ticket. The winner thinks that she needs some time to decide how she would use her winnings. She said: “I was just wandering into Cressbrook Newsagency to check my ticket and buy some Instant Scratch-Its. I had no idea there had been a win or that I was the winner. I just couldn’t believe it at first. It is wonderful.” She is a regular customer at Cressbrook Newsagency.

This is the third significant win for Cressbrook Newsagency. The owner Mark Bulow is happy because they found the lucky winner. “It has been a topic of Toogoolawah during the past week. We have had a lot of people coming in to check their tickets or just ask if the winner had been found,” he said. Mark also thinks that the $200,000 winner should prepare to celebrate a great Christmas this year.
