Michigan woman wins $50,000 on scratch-off lottery ticket

A Michigan woman turns out to be a Big Lottery winner worth $50,000. She has to convince her fiancé to buy the lottery ticket which turned out to be the winning ticket.

Melissa Cramer, 46, of Laingsburg, told that she was on a camping trip with fiancé. And, she asked her fiancé to buy an instant lottery ticket for her. She added, “My fiancé had left our campsite to pick up a few things.  So, I sent him a text and asked him to buy me some instant tickets.” But, he wrote back and said that he is not going to do so. As whenever he buys her a ticket, she loses.

However, Cramer replied, “I will this time.” So, he stopped and bought a few tickets for her. As per Cramer, the tickets included a Lucky Streak scratch-off game that turned out to be a $50,000 top prize. Meanwhile, when she scratched the ticket off, she thought she had done something wrong. However, when she called her friend to come into the camper, they both started screaming and jumping up and down. Mark, her fiancé came running to ensure everything is right.

Cramer claimed her winnings at Lottery Headquarters on Thursday. Ever since winning, she kept the winning ticket close to her. “It was under my pillow while I slept and in my waterproof phone case when we were on the boat,” she added later. Cramer plans to use the winning money for a new vehicle.
