Lottery Winners Danced for Joy after Winning £1 Million

A couple, Catherinette and William Mullarkey, started dancing when they realised they had won £1 million on Coventry Lottery. The Mullarkeys discovered their win in the National Lottery’s EuroMillions Millionaire Maker after returning from a holiday. They were enjoying a holiday in Catherinette’s Native, St Lucia.

The pair met when both of them were working at a hotel on the island. They were confused whether it was £10,000 or £100,000 at first. Celia, the granddaughter, first encouraged them to read the lottery winning email. It inspired them to ring the National Lottery and talk.

“We could not believe it when we saw a message come up to say congratulations you are a winner!” said William, the 57-year-old. There was a long silence on the telephonic conversation we made; it was surprising to us. In the end, he was told that he wins one million pounds. The excitement gradually spread inside the house. The winners celebrated their win with a cup of tea. They did not sleep all night.

They planned to use some of the money to help Catherinette’s nephew, Messiah Philip, who was paralyzed from the waist down in a road accident. Clearing family mortgage, as well as the loans, is also coming in their wish-cart. They also want to build a house in the days to come. After the house is made, in St Lucia, Catherinette and William are determined to spend their days in both the houses. However, the priority is to help the paralyzed and try to improve his physical condition.
