Here is some good news for China punters. China’s lottery players now don’t need to walk down to shops to scratch lottery tickets. Yes! You heard it right. Thanks to a new joint venture- AGTech Holdings and SF Express Co Ltd for bringing lottery tickets at your doorstep.

The Hong Kong-based lottery technology supplier AGTech Holdings announced a joint venture in April with Shenzhen-based SF Express Co Ltd, a leading courier delivery business. As a result, they launched their first SF-Themed Instant Scratch Lottery product on Tuesday.

The product is unique in many ways. This new product enables customers receiving a parcel via an SF Courier to purchase tickets directly from the courier. One can easily place bulk orders for SF lottery tickets and receive them right at your doorstep. In addition to this, you can simply redeem prizes by scanning your ticket’s QR code using the SF Financial app. You need not walk down to the nearest lottery office.

China’s National Sports Lottery Administration Center cooperated in the development of this new SF scratch product. They are expecting that the more easily accessible product will expand the potential market for instant scratch tickets.

The SF scratchers are currently available only in few provinces such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hunan and Jiangxi. The company is looking further to provide its services to rest of the parts. “Company hopes to expand the pilot program to rest of China by the end of the year,” Jimmy Bai AGTech’s chief operating officer quoted to South China Morning post.

Earlier, Alibaba’s Taobao.com platform used to sell online lottery tickets. The online sales of lottery tickets in China got temporarily suspended after the Beijing’s order, back in 2015. Above all, it is a really a good news for lottery players in China.
