An Irmo man hits $1 m scratch-off jackpot in the South Carolina Education Lottery and registers himself as a millionaire. A young construction worker from Irmo, South Carolina hit the $1 m jackpot on Platinum Millionaire scratch-off game.

He purchased his winning ticket from Round O, SC. It is a town nestled between Walterboro and Cottageville. According to Lottery officials, he along with his friend working construction near Round O Stopped at the Circle K #2723876 on Ace Basin Pkwy were hungry and stopped for a bucket of chicken. “I won $1 million!” he shouted after scratching off the instant game ticket. His friend said that he wouldn’t have believed it if he hadn’t been around to see.
