Orlando Lewis, a cook from Charlotte (North Carolina), used his lucky numbers to win 2nd October Cash 5 jackpot worth $453,302. “They were just random numbers I had in my mind. I started playing them in January and told myself that I’d keep playing them till they hit,” Lewis said.

Strong determination helped the hospital cook to beat 1 in 749,398. He made his usual stop at the Food Mart on Central Avenue in Charlotte. The clerk came up and said that they sold a winning ticket. Lewis knew it was his ticket only. He got the confirmation when he checked his card.
