One lucky ticket holder from Spain did what no other ticket holder could for the past eight years. He/she turned richer than Adele and Tom Jones. By matching all five numbers and two Lucky Stars, the punter walked away with the £169 million jackpot.

By matching one Lucky Star and five main numbers in Friday’s draw, four UK players won £900,571 each. “All players to check their tickets quickly to see if they are the winner,” Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor is urging the players. The winning numbers for October 6th EuroMillions draw were 01, 09, 15, 19, and 25. However, the Lucky Stars were 01 and 07.

The biggest jackpot won by any UK couple, Colin and Chris Weir, earlier was a £162 million jackpot. It was scooped in 2011. The odds of winning any EuroMillions prize are 1 in 13 and the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 139.8 million.
