Four Peterborough Households Have Scooped £30,000 Lottery Jackpot

By scooping £30,000 each on the Postcode Lottery, four Peterborough households have proved every single household needs good neighbours. It is the celebration time for Peterborough households. Peoples Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Matt Johnson, gave the prizes of Del Singh, Carol Pagan, David Riley, and a fourth resident living on Eastfield Road.

They picked up the jackpot after their postcode (PE1 4RD) was drawn as the Street Prize winner on Saturday. As per the lucky winners, they will use the money for home improvements, holidays, and to help out local people.

The Account Director for a software company, Del spends a lot of his spare time raising money for charity and work to help others. Del helps people in losing weight as he provides information through his website. The 54-year-old is also active in organizing sporting events to raise money for charity. He climbed Kilimanjaro last year and this year he is running a half-marathon.

On a golfing holiday, David, the Kitchen Designer, is going to Thailand for Christmas with a group of friends. So he will put some money towards that. “I run a property rental business too, so the rest of the money will probably go towards out next property – it will be well spent,” said the 56-year-old jackpot player.

Carol, the other winner, said that she would help her family out with her winnings. According to her, it has been a great experience, and we all know each other a bit better now. Both of her children will be getting some of the winnings. There was another £30,000 winner who was not home to receive their cheque. Lottery Ambassador said that he had a fantastic time here in Peterborough meeting the lucky winners.

Above all, at People’s Postcode Lottery, a minimum of 30% of ticket sales goes directly to charities. The players have collectively raised more than £212 million till today for more than 2,800 good causes across Great Britain and outside.
