Debra Thome, a woman from Black Hawk County, bought a ticket at Elk Run Heights and claimed $30,000 lottery prize. It was the 48th of 91 top prizes of $30,000 offered by lottery’s Bonus Crossword scratch game.

Thome claimed her lucky ticket at the lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids. The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s, 5202 Lafayette Road in Elk Run Heights.
