A couple who was struggling with health problems in the past is celebrating after scooping a share of £3 million. Peter Clegg shared how he had to leave his work to take care of his pregnant wife who suffered heart failure.

Now, the South Yorkshire couple is busy in celebrating the big win after scooping £450,000. They won three lots of £150,000 in Postcode Lottery after playing with three tickets. There were total 308 players who discovered they had won different prizes ranging from £4,451 to £450,000. All the winners received a winning cheque at winner’s celebration organized at Wentworth Woodhouse on Saturday.

Peter, 59, said, “This is going to make such a difference. Winning this money is life-changing for us.” Six years ago, when Diane was pregnant, she found out she had heart failure. Thankfully, our daughter Daisy was born safely after an emergency C-section. Eventually, both of us had to give up work. I left my job to look after the kid and Diane, Peter added.

Earlier this year, Peter and his family began video blogging to try and earn some extra money. They have made about £3 so far. Peter also revealed that Diane will not let him spend any of the winnings on the channel. He further says that he wants to spoil her as well as treat the kids by taking them all on a dream trip to Florida.

Meanwhile, another winner Simon Link was shocked to discover his £300,000 win. His wife Tanya joined him. She was also a winner. She scooped £8,902. Simon said that they are going to split the money.

Two other lucky winners also won £150,000 each.
