Two winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 tickets split a $450,000 jackpot from the Saturday’s drawing. Luzerne and Westmoreland counties sold the winning tickets. Both the tickets matched all the five winning numbers drawn.

The winning numbers were: 04-12-17-20-30

Both the retail stores, Pump ‘N Pantry, 2375 Route 118, Hunlock Creek, and Eastway Auto Parts, 3703 U.S. Route 30, Latrobe, will receive a check bonus of $500 for selling the big winning tickets. Winners will be identified only after the prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated. Each winning ticket wins $225,000 less applicable tax withholding. Apart from this, Cash 5 jackpot winners have one year of the deadline from the date of drawing to claim their winnings.

Firstly, anyone having a jackpot winning ticket should immediately sign the back of the ticket to claim his ownership. Secondly, the winner should call the Lottery and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office. However, winners can claim the lower-tier prizes at the Lottery retailers. During the fiscal year 2015-2016, the Pennsylvania Lottery awarded more than $88.6 m in prizes to Luzerne county winners. The Pennsylvania Lottery also provided more than $36.6 million to programs that benefit older residents. On contrary to this, the Lottery awarded more than $97 million in prizes in Westmoreland County. The Pennsylvania Lottery also generated more than $35.8 million to senior benefit programs in Westmoreland.
