Broad Street sells another lottery winning ticket

Another retail store along the Midtown stretch of Broad Street, Virginia has sold a winning lottery ticket. Someone has scooped $1 million in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing. However, the lottery officials have confirmed that the winner has yet not come forward.

Corner Mart, 4027 West Broad Street in Richmond sold the winning Mega Millions ticket.

The winning numbers were: 18-31-36-50-74 with Mega ball 10

Meanwhile, someone also won the $1 million in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing. Terrace Grocery, 1102 Penniman Road in Williamsburg sold the winning Powerball ticket.

The winning numbers were: 5-32-44-53-60, Powerball 9

The winning ticket holder has 180 days from the date of drawing to claim the winnings. First and foremost, the Lottery advises that the winner should immediately sign the back of the ticket to establish their ownership. It is the first thing one should do before doing anything else. After this, when the ticket holder is ready to claim the million dollar prize, he/she should contact the Virginia Lottery.

Above all, Virginia Lottery will offer a $10,000 bonus to both the stores for selling the winning ticket. The Midtown stretch of Broad Street has sold some big lottery tickets in the past. A $1 million New Year’s Millionaire Raffle and a $25,000 ticket for the New Year’s raffle are few of them.
