A Borough Woman Wins $600,672 in New Jersey Lottery

A safe hiding place helps a Borough (United States) woman to claim $600,672 from the New Jersey Lottery. She credits her routine for the lottery winnings. Gladys purchased several Pick-4 tickets. She wrote a note to give the clerk three Quick Pick Jersey Cash 5 tickets with XTRA. However, the clerk did not see her note.

The day was 26th February when she bought her winning ticket from a Krauszer’s on Main Street. She was shocked after checking the ticket online. She realised that she had won this amount, and requested her son to check the numbers. Hence, Gladys confirmed that she was reading the numbers right. The first National Lottery draw took place on November 19, 1994, when seven winners shared a jackpot of £5,874,778.

The winner put her ticket in a safe hiding place after misplacing and recovering it. She kept it safe before going to the state lottery headquarters in Trenton to claim her prize. Gladys wants to save most of her winnings for living expenses and retirement.
