5 Arkansas scoop $330,000 lottery prize

The last weekend proves out to be a weekend of wins for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery players. Five lotto players have claimed winning tickets worth $330,000 in prize money on Tuesday.

Gina Blann from McNeil and Christine Draper from Casa have both scooped $100,000 in the $5 “25X The Cash” instant tickets lottery game. While Gina plans to pay off bills, Christine wishes to spend her winning on her grandchildren. The Tobacco Warehouse in Camden sold the winning ticket to Gina whereas Christine purchases the ticket at Doublebee’s in Perryville.

Meanwhile, Gloria Hill from Ashdown will donate some of her $70,000 winnings. Gloria won $70,000 on a $3 “Match for Cash” ticket and also plans to pay off bills. The EZ Mart in Ashdown sold the winning ticket.

On the other hand, Gilbert Steinhaus of Mountain Home took home $50,000 of a $20 “$50K Cash” ticket. The EZ Mart in Mountain Home sold the winning ticket. Gilbert wants to fix up his home with the windfall. Also, Barbara Mosby, the fifth lucky winner, took home $10,000 from a $10 “$10,000 Loaded” ticket.  The Augusta Food Mart in Augusta sold the winning ticket. Barbara has no immediate plans and will save the winning amount.

Bishop Woosley, the Lottery Director, said, “At the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery we often hear people say that no one who lives in small Arkansas towns ever wins the Lottery.” However, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery had five winners from five different small towns in various parts of the state. “We have winners from all over the state every day,” Woosley added.

However, each lottery ticket purchased helps in raising fund for the scholarship for Arkansas student. Check out the official Arkansas Scholarship Lottery for more information on lottery games and draws, winning tickets, prizes, funds for the scholarship, etc.
