A tradesman scooped a $3 million Division 1 lotto jackpot. He used his morning tea break to come forward and claim the prize before heading back to his work site. WA’s latest Lotto millionaire from Bullcreek was dressed in a hardhat and a high-vis while claiming the prize. He was also planning a side-trip to buy a sausage roll.
“I bet that was the first time when a Lotto winner buys sausage roll. I have not caught a wink of sleep so I will probably add a coffee to the order too,” the winner stated. He is in his 30s now. He is willing to pay off his mortgage. His wife has not been able to trust his words yet. There are no requests from her side yet. Both of them went off to work this morning as nothing has happened.
The lucky businessman, who has bought his winning ticket from the Leeming Lottery Centre, Newsagency, is state’s 54th Division 1 win for the year. “Late last year we sold a Division 1 winning ticket worth almost half a million dollars,” store owner Colin Doyle expressed.
