Friday’s EuroMillions is offering the Second Highest Jackpot

After a straight rollover, the EuroMillions jackpot has reached £155 million for its upcoming draw which is likely to be held on 29th September. It was started in August with £25 million and reached £143 million by September 26th drawing. This is now the second highest jackpot ever offered in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, there was no winner in the last (26th September) draw.

”Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot will be one of the biggest prizes at any point offered to National Lottery players in the UK. At an expected £155 million, it would make the second largest win that the UK and Europe has ever observed,” Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said.

The Friday’s draw will help National Lottery to raise millions of money for Good Causes. In total, £37 billion has been raised so far. A British couple Chris and Colin Weir scooped the biggest EuroMillions jackpot in July 2011. The chances of winning the top prize will be 1 in 140 million approximately. However, the EuroMillions jackpot offers two weekly draws on Tuesdays and Fridays in Paris.
