Powerball lottery has announced its latest result. It was offering a jackpot worth more than a quarter of a billion dollars in its previous draw. The winning numbers for Wednesday’s (Dec. 20, 2017) Powerball jackpot were 01, 20, 61, 64, 69, Powerball 20, and Power Play 2X. Did you win Wednesday’s $272 million ($171 million cash payout) lottery jackpot? Check your ticket right away if you have not checked it yet. This prize could make you an ultra-rich person. Here’s the list of 10 states with the maximum numbers of winners.

If you have managed to match all the winning numbers – five Main Numbers and the Powerball Number – you should claim your prize now. You will be entitled to collect this whopping prize as one-time lump-sum payment or as an annuity payment. In the annuity payment, you will be offering one instant payment and 29 yearly installments.

On the other hand, a woman from Linn County, Barbara Yeisley, has claimed her prize five months after winning the Powerball prize of $50,000. She has been carrying the lucky ticket in her purse for more than five months.  In a fine day, Yeisley decided to clean out her purse and check all unchecked lottery tickets. One of those tickets ended up winning $50,000 by matching four Main Numbers and the Powerball Number correctly. It was a ticket for May 27 Powerball drawing. The 61-year-old winner said: “I am not really good about checking them and cashing them in. He (the store manager) stood there looking at it for a while and then asked me if I knew what I would win. I said, no. And then he told me it was $50,000 and I about had a heart attack.” She wants to save a significant portion of her winnings and share the rest portion with her beloved family.
