Crawford County person wins $125,000 Lottery Jackpot

A person from Crawford County, who bought his/her ticket at Quick Mart, 900 Water St., inside Meadville Downtown Mall, has won Cash 5 jackpot of $125,000. The winning numbers for Tuesday’s (Dec. 19, 2017) Cash 5 drawing were 12, 24, 31, 40, and 42. To win this $125,000 (less applicable withholding) jackpot, the ticket holder matched all five balls drawn.

The Quick Mart retailer receives $500 as the ticket selling bonus. More than 15,200 other Cash 5 ticket holders have won prizes of various amounts in Tuesday’s drawing. If you have the lucky ticket, sign the back side of the ticket and keep it in a place that is safe and easily accessible. Pennsylvania Lottery identifies its winners by the ticket validation. You should know that the Cash 5 prizes expire after one year from the day of the drawing. To claim the prize, you can file a claim at a Lottery office or call the Lottery officials at (717) 702-8146.

The Pennsylvania Lottery, in 2016-17 FY, has contributed more than $10.2 million to programs associated with the seniors of Crawford County. Nevertheless, it has awarded more than $15.3 million in prizes to the Crawford County players. The lottery which had introduced in 1972 remains the only state lottery which works for the benefit of seniors.
