Rebecca, a 60-year-old woman from Colorado Springs, has been able to scoop $850 thousand casino jackpot after scooping $1 million Powerball jackpot. Her luck returned after a decade of winning the $1 million prize. The Powerball winning ticket was bought in December 2007 at a liquor store in the Black Forest area. While playing a Wheel of Fortune progressive slot machine, she won the largest jackpot offered by Cripple Creek’s Wildwood Casino.
The Colorado Springs woman scooped a whopping $805,329.80 beating the $678,198 casino jackpot. The $678,198 casino jackpot was won in 2011 and registered as the biggest earlier. The lady conquered $1 million Powerball jackpot in 2007. “I guess I am just a lucky person,” she said according to a news release. Rebecca was with her dad celebrating his birthday in the casino. She, who loves travelling and spending time with her grandchildren, now wants to return to Wildwood. Rebecca likes to play card games because these games give little bit more control over what she is doing.
The 60-year-old woman invested about $26 into a Wheel of Fortune progressive slot machine and got $850 thousand. “Not a bad return on my money,” she said, laughing. “I have been in the gaming industry in this town for 26 years and have never seen a jackpot of this size. What a fun day for all who were involved” Mike Chaput, the director of Wildwood Casino, said.
