Bob Stocklas and James Stocklas, two siblings, decided to buy some Powerball tickets during a family vacation. Bob won $7, but James scooped a whopping $291 million from the Powerball lottery. Bob received a full-size winner’s check worth $7 while James chose to collect $191 million as a lump sum payment. James is going back to Florida with his winnings. But it is not confirmed whether he is bringing his brother back to Florida with him or not.

James was having his breakfast at his favourite restaurant when the Powerball numbers were announced. He checked his numbers over the phone and realised that he had won the jackpot. To celebrate, he called his family and offered breakfast to everyone in the restaurant. “Then it was chaos in the restaurant. I looked at [my friend], and we were jumping up and down,” the 67-year-old said.

Powerball offers two drawings (on Wednesday and Saturday) every week. This lottery is held in 46 locations across the United States. Its tickets are made available at $2 each. Accessing www.illinoislottery.com is the official way to get online tickets. A player needs to pick 5 main numbers from 1 to 69, and 1 Powerball number from 1 to 26.
