A ticket purchased at a gas station a month ago won $1 million in the October 18 drawing. The Wisconsin Lottery is still waiting for the winner of this whopping prize. The person who purchased his/her Powerball ticket at the Speedway, 3012 Washington Road in Kenosha matched five out of five numbers. He/she did not match the Powerball.
The winning numbers for October 18 drawing were 30, 49, 54, 66, 69, Powerball was 8 and Power Play number was 2. The winner is blessed with 180 days of ticket claiming period. But it was not the only big lottery win on Wednesday in southeast Wisconsin. Larry Hills, a ticket holder from West Allis, matched four out of five numbers along with the Powerball to win $50,000. He bought his winning ticket at Schmidt’s Country Gas N Go in Wind Lake.
Indiana comes first when we look at the list of state with the maximum number of Powerball jackpot winners. It has 39 winners so far, followed by Missouri (31 winners), Minnesota (22 winners), and Kentucky (18 winners). The $1.586 billion jackpot was history’s biggest Powerball jackpot. It was scooped on Jan. 13, 2016 by Maureen Smith & David Kaltschmidt from Florida, John & Lisa Robinson from Tennessee, and Marvin & Mae Acosta from California. All three couples scooped $533 million (before taxes) roughly.
