$4.6 Million LOTTO Ticket Sold in Port Orchard

You could be $4.6 million richer if you have purchased your LOTTO ticket in Port Orchard very recently. As per the officials of Washington’s Lottery, a ticket sold in Port Orchard matched Saturday’s LOTTO winning numbers; i.e., 05, 06, 09, 12, 27 and 38. It is predicted that the lucky ticket was sold at Albertsons Store on Sedgwick Road. The assistant manager of the store, Tony Craig, shared that no ticket holder claimed the prize yet.

Ann Marie Ricard, a spokeswoman for Washington’s Lottery, said ‘’the selling location will be made public after the prize is claimed. Winners are not obligated to allow their names to be publicized.’’ LOTTO is state’s flagship game which was introduced in 1984. Its tickets are made available at $1. Six lucky players won LOTTO jackpots ranging from $1 million to $6.1 million from July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017.

The winner can either collect $2.3 million as cash payout or annuity payouts over 25 years. In the case of annuity payout, the lottery is required to withhold 25 percent for the U.S. residents. To claim the prize, the winner has 180 days from the drawing. Hence, June 21, 2018, is the last date of claiming the lottery jackpot. If you have won anything more than $600, you are supposed to claim your LOTTO ticket at any of Washington Lottery’s regional offices. Before you claim it, you need to sign the back side of the ticket.
