$1.2 million jackpot split into three

Three lucky ticket holders shared a Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 October 10 jackpot worth $1.2 million. So to win $400,000 each (less applicable withholding), all these tickets managed to match all five balls drawn. However, Tuesday’s winning numbers were 22, 24, 34, 37, and 40.

The winning tickets were purchased at 7-Eleven, 5231 Harbison Ave., Philadelphia; Crosby’s, 1469 South Ave., Lewis Run, McKean County; and Bryn Mawr News Agency, 916 W. Lancaster Ave., Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County. All three retailers will receive $500 each as their ticket selling bonuses.

More than 69,400 other Cash 5 punters scooped prizes worth various amounts from October 10th drawing. All the Cash 5 winners are blessed with one year from the day of drawing to claim their prizes.
